3M Scotch SJ4570 Low Profile Dual Lock Velcro fasteners can replace conventional fixings such as screws, clips, rivets, push buttons, hook and loop and screws in many applications where access or repositioning is required. Very thin and resealable but sturdy low profile fasteners are thinner and more flexible than other 3m dual lock Velcro fasteners. SJ4570 has a self-adhesive backing (3 m 300 LSE lamination, giving it an excellent tape on many different surfaces such as Holf polypropylene, polyethylene, metal, wood and many others. Used in pop (point of purchase), exhibition and electronics, low profile dual lock Velcro fasteners on ceiling, tiles, carpet, seat cushion, measuring, graphics, panels, and small electronic devices. They are also ideal for attaching e-zpass tags to car windshield. 3M normally recommends 4 in 2 Fastener per kilo, static load for your low profile dual lock products. The 10 foot sizes are from a longer roll and come packed in a zip lock bag (only the 5/8" x 10ft SJ4570 is specially marked as *retail-packed comes in a package suitable for resale). Dual Lock has only one type of side; unlike Velcro fastener where there is a hook and loop so rolls are usually cut in two halves and then a 10 foot roll would be used or combined with two 5 foot strips. Low profile dual lock has 700 stems per square inch, but the stems are significantly shorter than standard dual lock, which has over 170, 250 or 400 stems per square inch. They make a much thinner joint (attachment to the object would not stick how far), but they do not have the adhesive force of conventional dual lock. However, it is ideal for small, lightweight items.
